In 1910, Cavalier Ugo Stellar acquired shares of an Italian automotive plan founded on the outskirts of Milan, Italy. This plant was called “Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili,” which created the acronym A.L.F.A.
In 1932, the Italian state holding company owned Alfa, which lasted until 1986. During these years, Alfa joined the Fiat group. Then in February 2007, it became Alfa Romeo Automobiles S.p.A. The company then became a subsidiary of Fiat, now known as Fiat-Chrysler Automobiles (FCA).
